Lamar Tardif recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 17th minute, Lamar Tardif got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 26th minute Lupe Fontaine shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Becker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Watson's goalkeeper Jose Becker, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Joey Eastman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lamar Tardif in the 33rd minute of play. Joey Eastman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lamar Tardif, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lamar Tardif was the one to do the kick off. Watson's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lazare Loomis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 54th minute, Watson's Lamar Tardif ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Joey Eastman. Joey Eastman yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Lamar Tardif managed to get in a good position for a shot. Watson's supporters rose to their feet, but Lamar Tardif was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joey Eastman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vincent Sherman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Jose Becker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wally Sabourin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Lamar Tardif had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Watson's Wally Sabourin got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 73rd minute, Lamar Tardif fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Joey Eastman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lamar Tardif, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 94th minute there was a penalty for Watson. Colombain Romano stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Joey Eastman. 0-3.
