Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Cody Swartz made the kick off which started today's match. With a little luck, Griswold's Maurice Torrez got control of the ball when Monroe Diaz tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 15th minute Cody Swartz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurice Torrez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maurice Torrez made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Monroe Diaz sent off a good shot on target. After 17 played minutes Griswold got a freekick which was hit by Lewis Duran. Griswold's Maurice Torrez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cody Swartz in the 19th minute of play. Maurice Torrez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Chauvin in the 21st minute of play. Maurice Torrez made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Nicholas Craft sent off a good shot on target. Maurice Torrez made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Monroe Diaz sent off a good shot on target. Omer Avila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 32nd minute Omer Avila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lyman English saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the game, Cody Swartz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pangnirtung's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Griswold the free kick. In the 33rd minute, Cody Swartz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 40 minutes into the match, Griswold's goalkeeper Maurice Torrez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Monroe Diaz. Thanks to some nice moves Monroe Diaz could shoot a difficult shot in the 45th minute, which Maurice Torrez however easily saved by the left post. Nicholas Craft took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maurice Torrez. Maurice Torrez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Omer Avila was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Griswold booed when Pangnirtung was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolas Chauvin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Monroe Diaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Maurice Torrez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 57 minutes into the match, Cody Swartz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maurice Torrez. Griswold's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cody Swartz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Maurice Torrez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frankie Chan in the 61st minute of play. In the 63rd minute Cody Swartz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurice Torrez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute Monroe Diaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurice Torrez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maurice Torrez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Monroe Diaz's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Lyman English made an important save on a dangerous shot by Omer Avila in the 66th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Lewis Duran managed to get in a good position for a shot. Griswold's supporters rose to their feet, but Lewis Duran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lyman English breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pangnirtung's goalkeeper Lyman English, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Maurice Torrez came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Pangnirtung's Nicolas Chauvin. But to his dismay, Nicolas Chauvin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. 78 minutes into the match, Griswold's goal looked a bit too open when Quinton Hale came free, but Maurice Torrez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute Monroe Diaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurice Torrez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Griswold's goal looked a bit too open when Cody Swartz came free, but Maurice Torrez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jed Vincent might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lyman English. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jed Vincent ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Pangnirtung's zone, Leo Desaulniers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lyman English came out of the goal and Leo Desaulniers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 90 minutes, Cody Swartz made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Griswold's Maurice Torrez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Pangnirtung had played much better football throughout.
