Augustus Gaulin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isreal Pelletier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Pictou AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Garnish C the free kick. After 15 played minutes Garnish C got a freekick which was hit by Gilberto Leal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Évariste Skaggs in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodrick Crow saved Garnish C from getting behind. Neal Prescott fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrick Crow having to interfere. Pictou AFC's Isreal Pelletier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augustus Gaulin in the 24th minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Augustus Gaulin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Isreal Pelletier. Pictou AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Augustus Gaulin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 36th match minute, Garnish C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Deangelo Hand to maneuver through the defense. Damon Croteau hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Évariste Skaggs made a kick off. Évariste Skaggs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrick Crow having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Neal Prescott managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pictou AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Neal Prescott was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodrick Crow breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Pictou AFC's Neal Prescott in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Garnish C's goalie prevented a goal. In the 58th minute, Évariste Skaggs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Augustus Gaulin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Isreal Pelletier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romain Barry in the 70th minute of play. Augustus Gaulin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isreal Pelletier having to interfere. Augustus Gaulin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Isreal Pelletier made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Romain Barry in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isreal Pelletier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 77th minute, Évariste Skaggs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 79th match minute, Garnish C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilberto Leal to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute, Évariste Skaggs made a precise shot to the right of Rodrick Crow. Garnish C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Pictou AFC's zone, Romain Barry stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isreal Pelletier came out of the goal and Romain Barry tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 89th minute, one of Pictou AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pictou AFC. 96 minutes into the match, Pictou AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Romain Barry came free, but Isreal Pelletier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Pictou AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Garnish C's performance. The match ended with a win for Garnish C.
