Juventus's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Sébastien Émond made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Évariste Skaggs in the 23rd minute of play. Waylon Schmitt charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Waylon Schmitt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 26 minutes into the game, one of Juventus:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Sonny Benoit placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Évariste Skaggs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sébastien Émond having to interfere. Évariste Skaggs might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sébastien Émond. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Évariste Skaggs ran back to his position shaking his head. Pictou AFC's Évariste Skaggs got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sébastien Émond showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Neal Prescott, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Neal Prescott sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Juventus defense, Évariste Skaggs kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sébastien Émond. The Juventus fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sébastien Émond should have stopped the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Toby Lachance stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes into the game, Neal Prescott recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sébastien Émond. Neal Prescott showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Sébastien Émond showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Évariste Skaggs, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Sébastien Émond showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Évariste Skaggs in the 63rd minute of the match. When Neal Prescott came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Pictou AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Neal Prescott couldn't finish the play. 78 minutes into the match, Juventus's goalkeeper Sébastien Émond had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Neal Prescott. Sébastien Émond took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Évariste Skaggs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Juventus's Toby Lachance got a free kick in the 80th minute. Neal Prescott sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute, Rémy Yost got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Évariste Skaggs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over Pictou AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Juventus throughout the match.
