Raoul Roberts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmar Mayo in the 14th minute of play. After 15 minutes, Davis Herring mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vampires and the Amadjuak players grew even worse after the yellow card. 18 minutes into the match, Vampires's goal looked a bit too open when Delmar Mayo came free, but Raoul Roberts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amadjuak's Riley Morales got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 22 played minutes Amadjuak got a freekick which was hit by Abe Duclos. After a rather tough play, Amadjuak's Freddie Hatcher got a free kick in the 28th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Gaétan Boykin notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Amadjuak's Frédéric Desilets. Frédéric Desilets was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 35 minutes into the match, Vampires's goal looked a bit too open when Delmar Mayo came free, but Raoul Roberts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Vampires's Raphaël Laliberté got a free kick in the 35th minute. Riley Morales struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Raoul Roberts didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Amadjuak. Vampires's Raoul Roberts proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Vampires from getting a goal against them. After 41 minutes of play, Vampires's Gaétan Boykin made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frédéric Desilets was left in no man's land by his defense there! Raoul Roberts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmar Mayo, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stacy McClelland in the 47th minute of play forced Amadjuak's goalkeeper Frédéric Desilets to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gaétan Boykin to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Delmar Mayo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Riley Morales sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute of the match Vampires got a corner. Amadjuak's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tommie Costello ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Tommie Costello got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Frédéric Desilets quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 73 minutes, Milford Bérard mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vampires and the Amadjuak players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Vampires's Milford Bérard got a free kick in the 73rd minute. When Gaétan Boykin came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Vampires fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaétan Boykin couldn't finish the play. After 82 minutes, Dorian Boston mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vampires and the Amadjuak players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 82 played minutes Vampires got a freekick which was hit by Dorian Boston. In the 83rd minute of the match Booker Faust sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Raoul Roberts skillfully saved the ball. In the 86th minute Riley Morales shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raoul Roberts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Riley Morales came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Amadjuak fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Riley Morales couldn't finish the play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Vampires walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
