Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jean Croteau started the match with the kick off. Jean Croteau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norman Dumas having to interfere. Pat Bouvier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Norman Dumas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10th minute, Earl Lockwood ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Numbers Creech was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Norman Dumas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tod Rodgers in the 15th minute of play. Jean Croteau might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Norman Dumas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jean Croteau ran back to his position shaking his head. After 25 minutes of play, Liverpool's Ron Burke made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Norman Dumas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Norman Dumas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tod Rodgers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Pat Bouvier came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Liverpool fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pat Bouvier couldn't finish the play. Tod Rodgers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norman Dumas having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dave Rossignol in the 44th minute of play forced Liverpool's goalkeeper Numbers Creech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dave Rossignol to make the kick off. Numbers Creech showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lambert McDermott, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. When Ron Burke came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Liverpool fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ron Burke couldn't finish the play. Waterloo Warriors's Norman Dumas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Waterloo Warriors from getting a goal against them. Pat Bouvier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norman Dumas having to interfere. Merlin Lockett kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. When Liverpool's Jean Croteau in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Norman Dumas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean Croteau in the 94th minute of play. Liverpool's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
