The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lacy Hoyt showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gino Fontaine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ambroise Reaves, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 6th minute, Ambroise Reaves left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Everard FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Filiberto Altman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ambroise Reaves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gino Fontaine having to interfere. Gino Fontaine stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Filiberto Altman's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Ambroise Reaves might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gino Fontaine. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ambroise Reaves ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 19th minute, Monroe Hanley fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Lacy Hoyt, passed just outside the right post. Gino Fontaine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filiberto Altman, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Everard FC's Lacy Hoyt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monroe Hanley in the 24th minute of play. Monroe Hanley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Everard FC's Ambroise Reaves got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Monroe Hanley struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Lacy Hoyt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Orangeville SC. After a rather tough play, Everard FC's Gilberto Gendron got a free kick in the 35th minute. Lacy Hoyt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monroe Hanley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Filiberto Altman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Everard FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Filiberto Altman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gino Fontaine breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ambroise Reaves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Gino Fontaine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Filiberto Altman made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Filiberto Altman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Everard FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After 64 played minutes Orangeville SC got a freekick which was hit by Jamaal Manley. 65 minutes into the match, Orangeville SC's goalkeeper Gino Fontaine had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ambroise Reaves. 66 minutes into the match, Orangeville SC's goal looked a bit too open when Filiberto Altman came free, but Gino Fontaine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72ndth minute of the game Filiberto Altman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Orangeville SC's Gino Fontaine was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Monroe Hanley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Lacy Hoyt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Orangeville SC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Everard FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
