Foster Brown took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monroe Hanley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 44 minutes into the game, Orangeville SC's Monroe Hanley nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Foster Brown made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Coy Goodwin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jamaal Manley kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Orangeville SC's Monroe Hanley got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Connaught getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Harry Singletary hit a great ball. Salvador Jetté fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gino Fontaine having to interfere. Coy Goodwin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gino Fontaine having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Connaught's Salvador Jetté sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gino Fontaine narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gino Fontaine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Coy Goodwin, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Gino Fontaine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Coy Goodwin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Connaught supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Orangeville SC's performance. The match ended with a win for Orangeville SC.
