Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Shahin FC's Jan Stanley started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Tyree Matlock managed to get in a good position for a shot. Shahin FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tyree Matlock was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ariel Ruth breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 5 played minutes Shahin FC got a freekick which was hit by Deangelo Winslow. 10 minutes into the match, Shahin FC's goalkeeper Young Melton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Freddie Spencer. In the 13th minute Marion Woody shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Young Melton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, Jan Stanley left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Shahin FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 19th minute, Damien Call hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th minute of the match Gail Jimenez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Young Melton skillfully saved the ball. Ariel Ruth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Stanley, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Shahin FC's Young Melton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duane Burnham in the 26th minute of play. Ariel Ruth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Stanley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Duane Burnham took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Young Melton to make any attempt to save it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Shahin FC's Deangelo Winslow got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jan Stanley blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ariel Ruth having to make a save. Tyree Matlock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tyree Matlock recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ian Cantrell hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 66th match minute, MacKay AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grady Watson to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Duane Burnham during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, MacKay AFC's Duane Burnham got a free kick in the 68th minute. Ariel Ruth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Benavides, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Jan Stanley's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ariel Ruth firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ariel Ruth made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valentin Benavides in the 78th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Jan Stanley kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ariel Ruth. That made the score 2-3 in the 81 minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Shahin FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ian Cantrell came free, but Young Melton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Shahin FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
