In the 4thth minute of the game Michale Richards who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bilby's Otto Varner was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The attack was good, but when Bryan Crisp in the 7th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Otto Varner didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Michale Richards went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to Mancity Blues getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Alden Craig hit a great ball. Michale Richards took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Otto Varner. Otto Varner dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Josiah Grant's late challenge caught a Mancity Blues's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Josiah Grant helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Bilby getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Josiah Grant hit a great ball. Otto Varner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bryan Crisp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Otto Varner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michale Richards, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Otto Varner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bryan Crisp in the 33rd minute of play. After 37 minutes of play, Mancity Blues's Michale Richards made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Otto Varner was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Bilby booed when Mancity Blues was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alden Craig didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vicente Carey to strike the kick off in the second half. Otto Varner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Booker Gould in the 52nd minute. After having played for 55 minutes, Taylor Déziel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bilby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Taylor Déziel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 63rd match minute, Bilby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hilario Talbot to maneuver through the defense. Michale Richards fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otto Varner having to interfere. After 72 minutes, Benton Sherman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bilby and the Mancity Blues players grew even worse after the yellow card. Taylor Déziel took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vespasien James. Vespasien James dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Mancity Blues played a much better game than Bilby and deserved their victory. The Bilby players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
