A collision led to Bilby getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Taylor Déziel hit a great ball. Otto Varner made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Bruce Burch sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emon McCracken in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Otto Varner saved Bilby from getting behind. In the 26th match minute, Bilby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josiah Grant to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Angry Smurfs's Aimé Whalen got a free kick in the 33rd minute. The supporters of Angry Smurfs booed when Bilby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hilario Talbot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bilby's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. If Vicente Carey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 76 played minutes Bilby got a freekick which was hit by Hilario Talbot. In the 78th minute Bruce Burch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otto Varner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the game, Emon McCracken cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Otto Varner was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Otto Varner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruce Burch in the 82nd minute of play. Emon McCracken took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Otto Varner. Otto Varner dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the 87th match minute, Bilby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hilario Talbot to maneuver through the defense. Emon McCracken fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otto Varner having to interfere. Hilario Talbot was shown his second yellow card after 92 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Angry Smurfs booed when Bilby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hilario Talbot didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruce Burch in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Otto Varner saved Bilby from getting behind. If Bruce Burch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Angry Smurfs had played much better football throughout.
