Abdel Karim Hanister took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erwin Jack, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the match, Leader FC's goal looked a bit too open when Reynaud Friend came free, but Alim Doğangün reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Papillion Cole was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Burriss's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leader FC the free kick. A collision led to Burriss getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Papillion Cole hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Leader FC's Maurice Knapp tried to score from far away in the 35th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. A hard shot 37 in the game by Gene Luke from a close distance when the talented Abdel Karim Hanister managed to make a qualified save. Burriss's players were relieved. Abdel Karim Hanister made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Gene Luke sent off a good shot on target. Monty Peacock hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Abdel Karim Hanister made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erwin Jack in the 43rd minute of play. The Leader FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Burriss were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Reynaud Friend stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Leader FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play.
