Jenecherú FC's Gipuzkoa Abeijon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xavian Abad in the 37th minute of play. Xavian Abad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gipuzkoa Abeijon having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Jenecherú FC's Baudelio Abeijon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that John Abastas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Baudelio Abeijon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Xavian Abad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Urti Abalos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Gipuzkoa Abeijon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Jenecherú FC's goal looked a bit too open when Xavian Abad came free, but Gipuzkoa Abeijon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Harsel FC's Xavian Abad got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gipuzkoa Abeijon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urti Abalos in the 66th minute of the match. Xavian Abad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 79th match minute, Jenecherú FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xusto Abella to maneuver through the defense. Urti Abalos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Gipuzkoa Abeijon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Geofredo Abajas took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised John Abastas. John Abastas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Gipuzkoa Abeijon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urti Abalos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the game, Harsel FC's Xavian Abad nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gipuzkoa Abeijon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. When Xusto Abella came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Jenecherú FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xusto Abella couldn't finish the play. The Jenecherú FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Jenecherú FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
