Remir Zucunza made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Carlo Vozmediano sent off a good shot on target. Txeru Angles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tulio Garraz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tulio Garraz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlo Vozmediano was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 36th minute. Soto's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Remir Zucunza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iker Velarroa in the 36th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Minuano FC's zone, Carlo Vozmediano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remir Zucunza came out of the goal and Carlo Vozmediano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd minute Iker Velarroa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remir Zucunza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 44 minutes, Eder Guareña made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Soto's Txeru Angles tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Txeru Angles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tulio Garraz in the 56th minute of play. If Eder Guareña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Soto's Muno Iribarne got a free kick in the 59th minute. After having played for 62 minutes, Iker Velarroa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Soto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iker Velarroa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Endura Sara kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Carlo Vozmediano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remir Zucunza having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Iker Velarroa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Remir Zucunza. Minuano FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iker Velarroa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In a very dangerous position, a player in Minuano FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 86th minute. Penalty! The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Soto had won after a very even match.
