An unexpectedly hard shot by Florian Ontaneda in the 15th minute of play forced Holyland's goalkeeper Hanni Lobato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Galo Goicoolea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eleder Paniagua's late challenge caught a Holyland's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eleder Paniagua helped the player get up and apologised. Eleder Paniagua hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the game, Florian Ontaneda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Andresito FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Holyland the free kick. A collision led to Andresito FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Florian Ontaneda hit a great ball. Galo Goicoolea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Florentino Cavia having to make a save. In the 40th minute of the match, Zuriko Lizaso got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hanni Lobato was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Hanni Lobato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florian Ontaneda, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Hanni Lobato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inautzi Astorgano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Florian Ontaneda was the one to do the kick off. Galo Goicoolea struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Florentino Cavia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Holyland. Galo Goicoolea in the 64thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Florentino Cavia, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 71st minute Galo Goicoolea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florentino Cavia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Holyland were furious when Abelardo Plata was red carded, 73 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The supporters of Andresito FC booed when Holyland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Galo Goicoolea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hanni Lobato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zuriko Lizaso, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Florian Ontaneda in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hanni Lobato prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Holyland's Xzaver Calzon got a free kick in the 83rd minute. If Galo Goicoolea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Rito Arandoja managed to get in a good position for a shot. Holyland's supporters rose to their feet, but Rito Arandoja was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florentino Cavia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 95th match minute, Holyland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xzaver Calzon to maneuver through the defense. Hanni Lobato came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Andresito FC's Florian Ontaneda. But to his dismay, Florian Ontaneda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1.
