Spectators: 6686 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1686, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Lourenco Talaga got the match started through his kick off. Bazkoare Fueyo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lourenco Talaga, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Menafra's Wilfredo Frera got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 11th play minutes Jose Amigo shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Maju Mendaza and just under the crossbar into goal. 15 minutes into the match, Barker's goalkeeper Maju Mendaza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Severino Piñango. Bazkoare Fueyo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lourenco Talaga's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. 19 minutes into the game, Luken Lerin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Menafra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barker the free kick. After 19 played minutes Menafra got a freekick which was hit by Luken Lerin. After 21 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Barker! Aldomiro Peruyera shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Wilfredo Frera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maju Mendaza having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Barker's zone, Severino Piñango stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maju Mendaza came out of the goal and Severino Piñango tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Severino Piñango received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Maju Mendaza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Gitano Ajamil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gitano Ajamil charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gitano Ajamil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 36th match minute, Barker was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gitano Ajamil to maneuver through the defense. Wilfredo Frera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Maju Mendaza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Severino Piñango sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute, Menafra's Wilfredo Frera dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. 47 minutes into the match, Menafra's Severino Piñango sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maju Mendaza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Wilfredo Frera made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Severino Piñango in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maju Mendaza saved Barker from getting behind. Alfonso Arizcun kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. If Severino Piñango had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Txerran Aladro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute, Txerran Aladro fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Txerran Aladro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bazkoare Fueyo having to interfere. If Alfonso Arizcun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Menafra's Bazkoare Fueyo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Menafra from getting a goal against them. Severino Piñango sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Menafra's Bazkoare Fueyo got control of the ball when Txerran Aladro tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 84 played minutes Menafra got a freekick which was hit by Jerano Ordas. If Wilfredo Frera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barker's Maju Mendaza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfredo Frera in the 95th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Barker players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Menafra.
