In the 14th minute Andre Zamora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pacho Zuya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pacho Zuya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andre Zamora in the 15th minute of the match. Gonsalvo Abaurre kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. If Osoitz Olabarrieta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Humberto Ayerdi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gauargi Aranguren hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Ximeno Natal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reimundo Acosta in the 33rd minute of play. Echevarria's Pacho Zuya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osoitz Olabarrieta in the 36th minute of play. If Osoitz Olabarrieta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute, Jonathan Sierro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Echevarria's zone, Andre Zamora stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pacho Zuya came out of the goal and Andre Zamora tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Reimundo Acosta made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Reimundo Acosta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ximeno Natal. Franquia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Reimundo Acosta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Gonsalvo Abaurre kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. When Humberto Ayerdi came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Echevarria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Humberto Ayerdi couldn't finish the play. In the 62nd minute Reimundo Acosta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ximeno Natal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 63 minutes, Osoitz Olabarrieta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Franquia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osoitz Olabarrieta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Franquia booed when Echevarria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Garcia Enebro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute of the match Alex Merodo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pacho Zuya skillfully saved the ball. Garcia Enebro charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Garcia Enebro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gonsalvo Abaurre kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Reimundo Acosta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ximeno Natal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reimundo Acosta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 84 played minutes, Franquia's Luzaide Bolantin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pacho Zuya came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Franquia reached it. Pacho Zuya didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Franquia's Andre Zamora shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-2 in the ordered_time% minute. 89 minutes into the match, Franquia's goal looked a bit too open when Reimundo Acosta came free, but Ximeno Natal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Franquia's Ximeno Natal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reimundo Acosta in the 91st minute of play.
