The audience thought a goal was coming when Palos Sanjurjo got free with Esquipula Tene in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Palos Sanjurjo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Esquipula Tene skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 34th minute Americo Villascuerna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esquipula Tene saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Lalo Landa F.C. defense, Txanton Mansilla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anaya Rosado. The Lalo Landa F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anaya Rosado should have stopped the shot. Anaya Rosado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Medero Puntones in the 66th minute of play. Fidencio Carneiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Anaya Rosado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Txanton Mansilla in the 69thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Anaya Rosado, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 71 minutes into the game, Medero Puntones was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sayago AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lalo Landa F.C. the free kick. Esquipula Tene was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fidencio Carneiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Anaya Rosado made a huge save. Fidencio Carneiro charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fidencio Carneiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 96th match minute, Sayago AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fidencio Carneiro to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sayago AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
