Ospin Roman came out of the goal and Faron Andinyach tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stefano Juez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ospin Roman having to interfere. Ospin Roman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faron Andinyach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stefano Juez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Garoa Alvisto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quique Presilla in the 57th minute of play. La Barbuda's Quique Presilla got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
