Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Danilo Dragranda in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Felippe Larreta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Guayabos FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Mikelats Vea hit a great ball. Tolek Ratulowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felippe Larreta having to interfere. Waldir Carioca hit a great ball. 10 minutes into the match, VARZELONA's goalkeeper Guillelmus Deco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bilintx Falco. After some careless play in the Guayabos FC defense, Danilo Dragranda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Felippe Larreta. The Guayabos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Felippe Larreta should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Guayabos FC booed when VARZELONA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danilo Dragranda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Waldir Carioca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felippe Larreta having to interfere. VARZELONA's Tolek Ratulowski got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 29 minutes into the match, Guayabos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Dragranda came free, but Felippe Larreta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 30 played minutes VARZELONA got a freekick which was hit by Zuhaitz Borjas. In the 31st match minute, VARZELONA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaston Verdes to maneuver through the defense. 34 minutes into the match, VARZELONA's goalkeeper Guillelmus Deco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bilintx Falco. In the 37th minute, Naldo Pinilla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 38 minutes into the game, Bilintx Falco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guayabos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave VARZELONA the free kick. In the 40th minute, Danilo Dragranda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VARZELONA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Enrico Añe kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Guillelmus Deco. That made the score 1-2 in the 43 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Danilo Dragranda in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Danilo Dragranda made a kick off. A collision led to Guayabos FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Xavon Coviella hit a great ball. Danilo Dragranda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Felippe Larreta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guayabos FC's Felippe Larreta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Guayabos FC from getting a goal against them. Danilo Dragranda blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Felippe Larreta having to make a save. Through an outstanding action, after 61 minutes, Felippe Larreta successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Guayabos FC's Felippe Larreta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Guayabos FC from getting a goal against them. Xavon Coviella kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Danilo Dragrandas short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got Felippe Larreta to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Fortun Bustillo fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VARZELONA's protests and gave Fortun Bustillo a yellow card for diving instead. Fortun Bustillo kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Felippe Larreta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Danilo Dragranda in the 70th minute. Waldir Carioca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Felippe Larreta made a huge save. Danilo Dragranda kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute. Though ot was a great shot Guayabos FC's keeper Felippe Larreta was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. The supporters of Guayabos FC booed when VARZELONA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xzaver Suarez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in VARZELONA's zone, Ladio Lacle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guillelmus Deco came out of the goal and Ladio Lacle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 77 in the game by Danilo Dragranda from a close distance when the talented Felippe Larreta managed to make a qualified save. Guayabos FC's players were relieved. Felippe Larreta made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Danilo Dragranda sent off a good shot on target. Danilo Dragranda scored 1-3 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Felippe Larreta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 86th minute of the match Mikelats Vea shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Guillelmus Deco showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Danilo Dragranda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Felippe Larreta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Felippe Larreta was a little too slow when Waldir Carioca got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 1-4. In the 95th minute, Dino Ferrer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle sounded VARZELONA left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Guayabos FC.
