Manilan Arizabal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 16th minute of the match, Marz Besteo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Federico Guardiola was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Celso Izaga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Argudin having to interfere. Federico Guardiola made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marz Besteo in the 20th minute. Manilan Arizabal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Mouricio Raireta came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Montes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mouricio Raireta couldn't finish the play. 26 minutes into the game, Marco Paniagua cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Eugenio Argudin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Mouricio Raireta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. Peralta AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Celso Izaga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Manilan Arizabal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eugenio Argudin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mouricio Raireta in the 58th minute of the match. Manilan Arizabal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico Guardiola having to interfere. Marz Besteo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Federico Guardiola stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manilan Arizabal's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Celso Izaga kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Celso Izaga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 68 minutes into the match, Montes's goal looked a bit too open when Manilan Arizabal came free, but Federico Guardiola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manilan Arizabal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eugenio Argudin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marco Paniagua in the 72nd minute. If Mouricio Raireta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. Federico Guardiola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marz Besteo, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Federico Guardiola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marz Besteo in the 86th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manilan Arizabal in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Federico Guardiola prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Peralta AFC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Andoni Lardero hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute, Marco Paniagua got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 95 minutes into the match, Peralta AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Mouricio Raireta came free, but Eugenio Argudin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Mouricio Raireta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Montes eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
