Danilo Dragranda in the 9thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Peruxu Amesquita, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 9 minutes, Denis Lariz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chonas FC and the VARZELONA players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of VARZELONA booed when Chonas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denis Lariz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute, Dino Ferrer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tolek Ratulowski took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Peruxu Amesquita. Peruxu Amesquita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 20th minute of the match, Danilo Dragranda got a very nice opportunity to score, but Peruxu Amesquita was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Sanduru Pereda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chonas FC's Peruxu Amesquita proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Chonas FC from getting a goal against them. A hard shot 30 in the game by Danilo Dragranda from a close distance when the talented Peruxu Amesquita managed to make a qualified save. Chonas FC's players were relieved. If Dino Ferrer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Chonas FC's Peruxu Amesquita got control of the ball when Danilo Dragranda tried to sneak it across the goal line. Peruxu Amesquita came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by VARZELONA's Danilo Dragranda. But to his dismay, Danilo Dragranda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After a rather tough play, Chonas FC's Miguel Matanza got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After 48 played minutes Chonas FC got a freekick which was hit by Madeo Santandres. Archibaldo Arnaez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 49th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Danilo Dragranda to make the kick off. VARZELONA's Guillelmus Deco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sanduru Pereda in the 54th minute of play. Denis Lariz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th minute, Xzaver Suarez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute, Tolek Ratulowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VARZELONA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. After having played for 67 minutes, Dino Ferrer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VARZELONA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dino Ferrer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Peruxu Amesquita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danilo Dragranda, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After 71 played minutes Chonas FC got a freekick which was hit by Denis Lariz. Peruxu Amesquita stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Danilo Dragranda's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Peruxu Amesquita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danilo Dragranda, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After 76 minutes of play, VARZELONA's Danilo Dragranda made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Peruxu Amesquita was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 80 played minutes VARZELONA got a freekick which was hit by Waldir Carioca. In the 81st match minute, VARZELONA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danilo Dragranda to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute Danilo Dragranda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peruxu Amesquita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sanduru Pereda got free with Guillelmus Deco in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zuhaitz Borjas hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. VARZELONA had played much better football throughout.
