Robrecht Sneijers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felippe Larreta having to interfere. 11 minutes into the game, Lino Oña was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guayabos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maláver the free kick. 14 minutes into the game, Maláver's Robrecht Sneijers nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Felippe Larreta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Calvet Reynoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bilintx Falco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute of the match, Luzea Oyuelos tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Felippe Larreta saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Luzea Oyuelos came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Maláver fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luzea Oyuelos couldn't finish the play. With his leg Felippe Larreta managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when Maláver's Robrecht Sneijers fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Robrecht Sneijers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Felippe Larreta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Maláver booed when Guayabos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lino Oña didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute, Guayabos FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Robrecht Sneijers fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Guayabos FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Luzea Oyuelos scored to the left of an out of position Felippe Larreta, making the score, 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Enrico Añe was the one to do the kick off. If Luzea Oyuelos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luzea Oyuelos in the 51st minute of play forced Guayabos FC's goalkeeper Felippe Larreta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 57 played minutes Guayabos FC got a freekick which was hit by Enrico Añe. Maláver's Robrecht Sneijers got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Robrecht Sneijers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Bilintx Falco fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guayabos FC's protests and gave Bilintx Falco a yellow card for diving instead. Bilintx Falco hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luzea Oyuelos in the 73rd minute of play forced Guayabos FC's goalkeeper Felippe Larreta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robrecht Sneijers scored 3-0 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Felippe Larreta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Maláver's Martxot Bañuelos got a free kick in the 89th minute. Felippe Larreta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luzea Oyuelos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luzea Oyuelos took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Felippe Larreta. Felippe Larreta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Maláver fully deserved thier win.
