After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Aurken Guardamino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fenerbache F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Aurken Guardamino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andres Fombona breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Zeru Herrea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. But to his dismay, Sanson Muñoyerro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. When Peruanton Mariña fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored durazno's protests and gave Peruanton Mariña a yellow card for diving instead. Peruanton Mariña hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Mane Taboada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Javier Pandal in the 71st minute of play. Andres Fombona showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lugo Contreras, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. If Sanson Muñoyerro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Canor Portela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The durazno players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
