In the 6th match minute, TNA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lluciano Urbino to maneuver through the defense. Balasi Casares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilfredo Viado, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Balasi Casares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Garaona Lorza in the 26th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfredo Viado in the 27th minute of play forced TNA's goalkeeper Balasi Casares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Balasi Casares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Garaona Lorza went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 34th minute Wilfredo Viado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Balasi Casares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, CD Jovani Vázquez's Wilfredo Viado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Balasi Casares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Xurde Almendras hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Cloyo Torra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After the first half CD Jovani Vázquez were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Wilfredo Viado made the kick off in the second half. Balasi Casares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Garaona Lorza in the 53rd minute. When Wilfredo Viado came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the CD Jovani Vázquez fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilfredo Viado couldn't finish the play. 59 minutes into the match, Garaona Lorza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Balasi Casares. TNA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Garaona Lorza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. When Juango Zamarro fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TNA's protests and gave Juango Zamarro a yellow card for diving instead. Wilfredo Viado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 74 played minutes TNA got a freekick which was hit by Larra Sagredo. 78 minutes into the game, TNA's Leo Lodeña nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bras Castellon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. After a rather tough play, TNA's Lluciano Urbino got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Balasi Casares acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 83rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Xurde Almendras. After 84 played minutes TNA got a freekick which was hit by Juango Zamarro. Larra Sagredo hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. CD Jovani Vázquez played a much better game than TNA and deserved their victory. The TNA players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
