With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leoiar Roda in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mario Lazaeta saved Valdense FC from getting behind. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

A collision led to Valdense FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Inge Freire hit a great ball. Leoiar Roda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 90 minutes, Leoiar Roda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mendoza's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leoiar Roda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leoiar Roda in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mario Lazaeta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leoiar Roda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Lazaeta having to interfere. Valdense FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
