Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Maronas's Llin Preciado started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Llin Preciado came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Maronas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Llin Preciado couldn't finish the play. In the 10th minute Cidro Fernandes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victoriano Ledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Maronas's goal looked a bit too open when Cidro Fernandes came free, but Victoriano Ledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victoriano Ledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maurin Palmer in the 21st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurin Palmer in the 23rd minute of play forced Maronas's goalkeeper Victoriano Ledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victoriano Ledo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pacho Faso in the 27th minute. The supporters of Maronas booed when Mosquitos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bastiaro Villamil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maronas's Apolo Cazarez got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurin Palmer in the 37th minute of play forced Maronas's goalkeeper Victoriano Ledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xavieon Hoyuela hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After 40 played minutes, Mosquitos FC's Bastiaro Villamil shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Victoriano Ledo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mosquitos FC reached it. Pacho Faso struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Victoriano Ledo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mosquitos FC. Victoriano Ledo came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Mosquitos FC's Maurin Palmer. But to his dismay, Maurin Palmer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Maurin Palmer made the kick off in the second half. Cidro Fernandes was shown his second yellow card after 54 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 55th match minute, Mosquitos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cidro Fernandes to maneuver through the defense. Ponc Nuñez made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Llin Preciado sent off a good shot on target. Balasi Malta kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Orti Larreta's late challenge caught a Maronas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ponc Nuñez made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Rene Sotorrio sent off a good shot on target. Victoriano Ledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pacho Faso, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 66th minute Pacho Faso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victoriano Ledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Mosquitos FC's Xicu Varlett got a free kick in the 67th minute. Maurin Palmer took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victoriano Ledo. Victoriano Ledo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Llin Preciado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ponc Nuñez having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Llin Preciado in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ponc Nuñez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 90 minutes into the match, Mosquitos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Sotorrio came free, but Ponc Nuñez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Llin Preciado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mosquitos FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
