Osorio Massey started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osorio Massey in the 5th minute of play forced Masoller AFC's goalkeeper Patricio Orozco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute of the match, Osorio Massey tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Patricio Orozco saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Victorino Qwinton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Galtero Cuesta in the 13th minute of the match. After 16 played minutes Masoller AFC got a freekick which was hit by Marz Oporto. Victorino Qwinton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marz Oporto, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Osorio Massey took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Patricio Orozco. Patricio Orozco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Ramiro Arin charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ramiro Arin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 28th match minute, Paso de la Arena was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramiro Arin to maneuver through the defense. After 32 minutes, Ilazki Capa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paso de la Arena and the Masoller AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Paso de la Arena's Victorino Qwinton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horado Fano in the 33rd minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Masoller AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Garcia Llanderas came free, but Patricio Orozco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patricio Orozco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osorio Massey, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. With a little luck, Masoller AFC's Patricio Orozco got control of the ball when Cássio Arantes tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 45th minute of the game. One of Paso de la Arena:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Masoller AFC:s goal. Victorino Qwinton had in the 46thth minute some difficulties stopping Rogerio Almenester's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Rogerio Almenester notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Paso de la Arena's Victorino Qwinton. Victorino Qwinton was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After 55 minutes, Horado Fano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Masoller AFC and the Paso de la Arena players grew even worse after the yellow card. Horado Fano hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Jimmie Haeger's late challenge caught a Masoller AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jimmie Haeger helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Masoller AFC booed when Paso de la Arena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimmie Haeger didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Sergio Chacin came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Masoller AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sergio Chacin couldn't finish the play. In the 71st minute Garcia Llanderas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Orozco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cássio Arantes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patricio Orozco having to interfere. After 97 played minutes Paso de la Arena got a freekick which was hit by Cordarryl Zaldos. Despite being the better team, Paso de la Arena failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
