The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, C.A.Canelones1993 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Resto Marquez to maneuver through the defense. Hustaz Perma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Resto Marquez in the 7th minute of the match. Caio Igay received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hustaz Perma came out and tried to block the shot, but Caio Igay slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 9th minute. Llorenc Tobar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alex Egea kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Alex Egea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Resto Marquez got free with Hustaz Perma in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 23 minutes into the match, C.A.Canelones1993's goal looked a bit too open when Llorenc Tobar came free, but Indalecio Tello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atarrabi Cancela charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Atarrabi Cancela the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Atarrabi Cancela hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Hustaz Perma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caio Igay in the 26th minute of play. Hustaz Perma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bidun Elorriaga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute, Bidun Elorriaga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st match minute, C.A.Canelones1993 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caio Igay to maneuver through the defense. Atarrabi Cancela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hustaz Perma having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in C.A.Canelones1993's zone, Llorenc Tobar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Indalecio Tello came out of the goal and Llorenc Tobar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 46 minutes of play, C.A.Canelones1993's Resto Marquez made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hustaz Perma was left in no man's land by his defense there!

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Caio Igay to make the kick off. Llorenc Tobar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Indalecio Tello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 56 played minutes Ideal de Montevideo got a freekick which was hit by Orlanda Amezua. When Bidun Elorriaga fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A.Canelones1993's protests and gave Bidun Elorriaga a yellow card for diving instead. In the 57th minute, one of C.A.Canelones1993:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for C.A.Canelones1993. When the match had been going on for 58 minutes, Ideal de Montevideo's Llorenc Tobar got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Indalecio Tello. 64 minutes into the match, Caio Igay notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Ideal de Montevideo's Hustaz Perma. Hustaz Perma was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Llorenc Tobar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 70 minutes into the match, Ideal de Montevideo's goal looked a bit too open when Caio Igay came free, but Hustaz Perma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bazil Vergas in the 75th minute of play forced Ideal de Montevideo's goalkeeper Hustaz Perma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alex Egea kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. C.A.Canelones1993's Resto Marquez got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Llorenc Tobar came up free with the goalie in the 99th minute, the Ideal de Montevideo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Llorenc Tobar couldn't finish the play. There was no doubt that C.A.Canelones1993 were the better team. C.A.Canelones1993's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
