Adán Bastarrica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27thth minute of the game Adán Bastarrica who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Algarrobal's José Francisco Waugh was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Adán Bastarrica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Naelio Folch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Franco Paetz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Adán Delporte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Franco Paetz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adán Delporte having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Adán Bastarrica made the kick off in the second half. A hard shot by Xulián Fassnacht from long distance, 56 minutes into the match, got Adán Delporte's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After having played for 56 minutes, Adán Bastarrica managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Andes Hotspur's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adán Bastarrica was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Apolo Chamaca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. José Francisco Waugh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adán Bastarrica, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After 64 played minutes Algarrobal got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo Jina. Adán Bastarrica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 79 minutes into the game, Adán Bastarrica cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. José Francisco Waugh was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Adán Bastarrica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Francisco Waugh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mónico Davis in the 84th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Adán Bastarrica got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Balendín Arbildo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. José Francisco Waugh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adán Delporte made an important save on a dangerous shot by Naelio Folch in the 95th minute.
