Spectators: 6698 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1698, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Francisco Solezzi started the match with the kick off. Combarabala FC's Modesto Urbistondo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Solezzi in the 9th minute of play. Loreno Paillao received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Modesto Urbistondo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Francisco Solezzi in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Modesto Urbistondo saved Combarabala FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mónico Otero in the 13th minute of play forced Combarabala FC's goalkeeper Modesto Urbistondo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute, Loreno Paillao made a precise shot to the right of Modesto Urbistondo. Combarabala FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. With a little luck, Compi's Lois Noguera got control of the ball when Benjamín La Motte tried to sneak it across the goal line. 18 minutes into the game, Loreno Paillao was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Compi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Combarabala FC the free kick. In the 18th minute, Loreno Paillao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Loreno Paillao blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Modesto Urbistondo having to make a save. Modesto Urbistondo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loreno Paillao in the 21st minute of play. After 22 minutes, Edgar Puelma mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Combarabala FC and the Compi players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 22nd minute, Edgar Puelma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute Mónico Otero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Modesto Urbistondo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Modesto Urbistondo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Solezzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Loreno Paillao struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Modesto Urbistondo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Compi. Francisco Solezzi took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Modesto Urbistondo. Modesto Urbistondo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 37th minute, Loreno Paillao left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Compi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After a rather tough play, Compi's Loreno Paillao got a free kick in the 40th minute. Loreno Paillao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Urbistondo having to interfere. After 46 played minutes Combarabala FC got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Puelma.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Victoriano Delzo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Francisco Solezzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. After some careless play in the Combarabala FC defense, Francisco Solezzi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Modesto Urbistondo. The Combarabala FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Modesto Urbistondo should have stopped the shot. If Francisco Solezzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Modesto Urbistondo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Solezzi in the 78th minute of the match. With a little luck, Combarabala FC's Modesto Urbistondo got control of the ball when Mónico Otero tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Compi booed when Combarabala FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adriano Eguiguren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abundio Grajales fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Urbistondo having to interfere. Abundio Grajales could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Modesto Urbistondo made a huge save. Combarabala FC's Modesto Urbistondo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Solezzi in the 84th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mónico Otero got free with Modesto Urbistondo in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 89th minute of the match Compi got a corner. Combarabala FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mónico Otero ran over to the corner to take the kick. Mónico Otero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Modesto Urbistondo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Combarabala FC's Emanuel Cortés got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Combarabala FC's Modesto Urbistondo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Raúl Ramos in the 94th minute of play.
