After a rather tough play, AC Pelotillehue's Salvatore Aedo got a free kick in the 2nd minute. When AC Pelotillehue's Moncho Byers in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Osorno F.C's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 7 minutes, Esequiel Zárate managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Osorno F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Esequiel Zárate was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Esequiel Zárate had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 23rd minute Gonzalo Alvear shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Normando Soruco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute, Gonzalo Alvear got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Moncho Byers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Guido Abuauad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Gonzalo Alvear got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 36th minute, Esequiel Zárate ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Normando Soruco was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The corner ended in Sebastián Hucke almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but AC Pelotillehue's Normando Soruco did a great save. Normando Soruco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonzalo Alvear, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 61 played minutes AC Pelotillehue got a freekick which was hit by Tomasino Duncker. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gonzalo Alvear in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Normando Soruco saved AC Pelotillehue from getting behind. Gonzalo Alvear sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Adam Espejo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Normando Soruco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gonzalo Alvear struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Normando Soruco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Osorno F.C. 75 minutes into the match, AC Pelotillehue's goalkeeper Normando Soruco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Esequiel Zárate. The audience thought a goal was coming when Esequiel Zárate got free with Normando Soruco in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Esequiel Zárate recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. AC Pelotillehue's Normando Soruco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzalo Alvear in the 84th minute of play. Esequiel Zárate scored 0-2 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Normando Soruco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Guido Abuauad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salvatore Aedo in the 92nd minute of play. Gonzalo Alvear struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Normando Soruco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Osorno F.C. Osorno F.C's Gonzalo Alvear got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match was over Osorno F.C could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than AC Pelotillehue throughout the match.
