Spectators: 7159 (Terracing: 5644, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 15) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Armando Aguilera started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eriberto Escandón in the 5th minute of play forced Pilmahue's goalkeeper Ireno Somarriva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute, one of Pilmahue:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pilmahue. In the 11th minute, Odín Walton fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Ireno Somarriva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haroldo Gebhard in the 12th minute of the match. Arnoldo Vizcaya scored 0-2 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ireno Somarriva, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ireno Somarriva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eriberto Escandón in the 18th minute of the match. In the 20th minute Arnoldo Vizcaya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ireno Somarriva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Algarrobal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Árpád Barabás came free, but Calvino Waddington reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pilmahue's Ireno Somarriva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Aguilera in the 28th minute of play. The supporters of Algarrobal FC booed when Pilmahue was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Walker didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Pilmahue getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Flavio Walker hit a great ball. When Armando Aguilera came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Algarrobal FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armando Aguilera couldn't finish the play. Árpád Barabás who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Calvino Waddington when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Calvino Waddington stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Árpád Barabás's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. 47 minutes into the match, Eriberto Escandón had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ireno Somarriva. Pilmahue's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eriberto Escandón was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Árpád Barabás to strike the kick off in the second half. Árpád Barabás fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calvino Waddington having to interfere. In the 60th minute Árpád Barabás shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calvino Waddington saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Flavio Walker came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Pilmahue fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flavio Walker couldn't finish the play. Haroldo Gebhard kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Normando Monzón hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Pilmahue's 肖梁榕 tried to score from far away in the 65th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Árpád Barabás fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calvino Waddington having to interfere. Calvino Waddington took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Árpád Barabás, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute, Árpád Barabás hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnoldo Vizcaya got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 0-5 in the right cross in the 73rd match minute before Ireno Somarriva had time to react. After a defensive mix-up in Algarrobal FC's zone, Árpád Barabás stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Calvino Waddington came out of the goal and Árpád Barabás tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 78 minutes into the match, Algarrobal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Árpád Barabás came free, but Calvino Waddington reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Odín Walton scored 1-5 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Calvino Waddington, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 88th minute Árpád Barabás shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calvino Waddington saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xaime Tenorio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 91stth minute of the game Árpád Barabás who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Algarrobal FC's Calvino Waddington was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Pilmahue lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
