After 38 played minutes Chalinguita got a freekick which was hit by Baraquiel Ferraro. The supporters of ESCORPION FC booed when Chalinguita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximiliano Zepeda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alexandre Lizardi kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Lázaro Basay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Eastman in the 42nd minute of play. Hermelando Mundaca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lázaro Basay having to interfere.

Chalinguita's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Belmiro Cruzat in the 53rd minute. ESCORPION FC's Hermelando Mundaca got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marciano Olivos hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After 61 minutes of play, ESCORPION FC's Hermelando Mundaca made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lázaro Basay was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 67 minutes, Hermelando Mundaca made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Chalinguita's Lázaro Basay tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 72 minutes into the game, Hermelando Mundaca lined in a short shot 0-5 behind a frustrated Lázaro Basay. In the 76th minute, Leonides Eastman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, ESCORPION FC's Hermelando Mundaca got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Leonides Eastman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lázaro Basay having to interfere. When Hermelando Mundaca came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the ESCORPION FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hermelando Mundaca couldn't finish the play. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chalinguita's goalkeeper Lázaro Basay, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. ESCORPION FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
