Ovalle's Cristofer Ornaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evaristo Lisboa in the 5th minute of play. The penalty shot was made by Julián Ensslin, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Chalinguita's Lázaro Basay. 0-1. Evaristo Lisboa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abraham Matiuzzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristofer Ornaz having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Evaristo Lisboa to make the kick off. When Chalinguita's Evaristo Lisboa in 52 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Cristofer Ornaz guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abraham Matiuzzi in the 89th minute of play forced Ovalle's goalkeeper Cristofer Ornaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Ovalle players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Chalinguita from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
