Pere Cea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelino Diena, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Pere Cea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Angelino Diena's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Hernán Eastman kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Chelis's Angelino Diena got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Bautista Lois had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelino Diena in the 26th minute of play forced Llaillay FC's goalkeeper Pere Cea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Haroldo Ibarbia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bautista Lois went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 32nd minute, Chelis's Angelino Diena ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pere Cea. Pere Cea yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. After 34 played minutes Chelis got a freekick which was hit by Vladimiro Manguyague. Bautista Lois struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Haroldo Ibarbia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Llaillay FC. After 37 played minutes Chelis got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Javier Marty. Pere Cea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelino Diena in the 42nd minute of play. Chelis's Haroldo Ibarbia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miren Penschke in the 48th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Angelino Diena stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Heliodoro Demanet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Pere Cea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angelino Diena scored 2-1 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pere Cea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pere Cea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelino Diena in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 67th play minute Bautista Lois came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Haroldo Ibarbia. 2-2. In the 94th minute Angelino Diena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pere Cea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
