Juan María Grebe didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute Modestio Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isadoro Villalobos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Alifonso Maino sped through Quilapalo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lautaro Landa. After 29 minutes, Alifonso Maino made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Quilapalo's Lautaro Landa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Cristofer Ostolaza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isadoro Villalobos having to interfere. Lautaro Landa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alifonso Maino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Máximo Eyzaguirre managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rodelindo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Máximo Eyzaguirre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Landa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Alifonso Maino came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Rodelindo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alifonso Maino couldn't finish the play. Lautaro Landa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alifonso Maino's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristofer Ostolaza to make the kick off. In the 56th minute, Cristofer Ostolaza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isadoro Villalobos was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Benedicto Arco hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match.
