Miquel Romeo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacindo Esparza having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Cristiano Frias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacindo Esparza was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. A collision led to NewenFungus getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Mercurio Landon hit a great ball. In the 40th minute Cristiano Frias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacindo Esparza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ruesga Alvear got free with Ariel Curiñanco in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Jacindo Esparza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristiano Frias in the 51st minute. 56 minutes into the game, Paredes Gol's Florín Cumsille nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacindo Esparza was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristiano Frias showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 89 minute of play. Cristiano Frias received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jacindo Esparza came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristiano Frias slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 93rd minute.
