Baltazar Foretic fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacindo Esparza having to interfere. NewenFungus's Jacindo Esparza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save NewenFungus from getting a goal against them. In the 42nd match minute, NewenFungus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mercurio Landon to maneuver through the defense. 44 minutes into the game, The Sinx FC's Quentín Berau nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacindo Esparza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Baltazar Foretic made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, The Sinx FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benicio Vicente to maneuver through the defense. In the 55th minute Geofredo Hesler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Guerrero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. NewenFungus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rexino Mason was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 87th minute Benicio Vicente suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. A collision led to NewenFungus getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Mercurio Landon hit a great ball. The Sinx FC's Quentín Berau got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Quentín Berau came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the The Sinx FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Quentín Berau couldn't finish the play.
