Spectators: 6690 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Laurín Landea got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Puntilla FC's goalkeeper Héctor Izaga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lino Zubicueta kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Florentino Quiero notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Puntilla FC's Héctor Izaga. Héctor Izaga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Héctor Izaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florentino Quiero in the 14th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Puntilla FC's Laurín Landea dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Lino Zubicueta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chalipen's Ermegildo Feloaga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Chalipen from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Loreno Antunovic during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Puntilla FC booed when Chalipen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Loreno Antunovic didn't get a good kick on the ball. José Carlos Ugas charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed José Carlos Ugas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 30th minute, Florentino Quiero made a precise shot to the right of Héctor Izaga. Puntilla FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Puntilla FC's Héctor Izaga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florentino Quiero in the 41st minute of play. After 44 played minutes Chalipen got a freekick which was hit by Manuelo Quirch. In the 46th match minute, Chalipen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romano Willis to maneuver through the defense. Puntilla FC's Adriel Sovino shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 47th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ermegildo Feloaga but with some difficulty. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Héctor Izaga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manuelo Quirch's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Florentino Quiero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Héctor Izaga having to interfere. After 63 minutes of play, Chalipen's Florentino Quiero made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Héctor Izaga was left in no man's land by his defense there! Puntilla FC's Héctor Izaga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Puntilla FC from getting a goal against them. Ermegildo Feloaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laurín Landea in the 68th minute of play. Ermegildo Feloaga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laurín Landea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manuelo Quirch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Héctor Izaga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lino Zubicueta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ermegildo Feloaga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Laurín Landea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Chalipen supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Chalipen would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
