After 31 played minutes, Huequecura's Valerio Zuloaga shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gerard Hagedorn came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Huequecura reached it. Markus Ureta kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute Magdaleno Zelada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerard Hagedorn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rogelio Carmona showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Pechini, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Benedicto Charlin thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Rogelio Carmona, a very annoying self made goal in the 51st minute which led to 0-3. When Huequecura's Carmelo Frontaura in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 65 minutes of play, Huequecura's Magdaleno Zelada made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gerard Hagedorn was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alex Pechini struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Rogelio Carmona didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chorillos AFC. Carmelo Frontaura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 3-3 when Magdaleno Zelada sped through Chorillos AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gerard Hagedorn. Gerard Hagedorn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Magdaleno Zelada in the 85th minute of play. Carmelo Frontaura might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gerard Hagedorn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carmelo Frontaura ran back to his position shaking his head. Carmelo Frontaura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute.
