Pantanillo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ferrando Von Stillfried was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cresenciano Isamit breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Orlando Cuminao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Borghi having to interfere. After having played for 39 minutes, Jose Miguel Pinochet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Teno FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jose Miguel Pinochet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alex Borghi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Cuminao, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 44th minute Ferrando Von Stillfried shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cresenciano Isamit saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The supporters of Teno FC booed when Pantanillo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miliano Lanz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 53 minutes into the match, Teno FC's Washington Mandiola broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Jose Miguel Pinochet put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Alex Borghi. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Cuminao in the 60th minute of play forced Pantanillo FC's goalkeeper Alex Borghi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ferrando Von Stillfried received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
