Xaiver Buchanan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leonides Antunovic having to make a save. In the 6th minute, Lonquimai's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Moisés Raposo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Xaiver Buchanan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelillo Aravena's late challenge caught a Lonquimai's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angelillo Aravena helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Ciruelos AFC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Angelillo Aravena hit a great ball. In the 18th minute, Genaro Barriga sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ciruelos AFC's Jeronimo Legrand didn't even have to move. Constantino Mosquera blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jeronimo Legrand having to make a save. If Vinos Urquieta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Constantino Mosquera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Jeronimo Legrand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xaiver Buchanan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonides Antunovic read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Leonides Antunovic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xaiver Buchanan in the 38th minute of play. Moisés Raposo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Leonides Antunovic made a huge save. Xaiver Buchanan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Xaiver Buchanan made a kick off. Moisés Raposo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Leonides Antunovic tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonides Antunovic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xaiver Buchanan in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rufino Samaniego in the 58th minute of play forced Ciruelos AFC's goalkeeper Jeronimo Legrand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeronimo Legrand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rufino Samaniego, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. When %teams%'s Rufino Samaniego was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 0-1 just inside the left pole, 63 minutes into the game. Jeronimo Legrand was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Xaiver Buchanan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonides Antunovic read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Leonides Antunovic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moisés Raposo in the 71st minute of the match. Jeronimo Legrand made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Constantino Mosquera sent off a good shot on target. Leonides Antunovic was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Lonquimai players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
