Angelino Alzerreca was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Arnaldo Swett capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Arnaldo Swett really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 21 minutes into the match, Diguillin's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Swett came free, but Angelino Alzerreca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 27 played minutes Diguillin got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Francisco Barrueto. Ángel Escalante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hugo Patiño hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Angelino Alzerreca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Caupolicán Millas went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arnaldo Swett made a kick off. Marcos Francisco Barrueto hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 54thth minute of the game Arnaldo Swett who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Diguillin's Angelino Alzerreca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Peio Corral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Teofilio Ugalde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Arnaldo Swett made a precise shot to the right of Angelino Alzerreca. Diguillin's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Ángel Escalante managed to get in a good position for a shot. Diguillin's supporters rose to their feet, but Ángel Escalante was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teofilio Ugalde breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Caupolicán Millas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Angelino Alzerreca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute Juan Jesus Salin suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. Hugo Patiño's late challenge caught a Panavinto's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hugo Patiño helped the player get up and apologised. In the 84th match minute, Diguillin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Patiño to maneuver through the defense. When Caupolicán Millas came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Panavinto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Caupolicán Millas couldn't finish the play. Teofilio Ugalde made an important save on a dangerous shot by Peio Corral in the 92nd minute. Angelino Alzerreca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caupolicán Millas in the 94th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Panavinto had won after a very even match.
