After 4 played minutes Rahue F.C got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Berecedo. The long shot by Norberto Abarza in the 5th minute really tested Leonides Morgado's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Rahue F.C's zone, Miliano Lizondo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonides Morgado came out of the goal and Miliano Lizondo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leonides Morgado was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Miliano Lizondo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. Cumina FC's Miliano Lizondo got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Rahue F.C defense, Rómulo Campos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonides Morgado. The Rahue F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonides Morgado should have stopped the shot. 24 minutes into the game, Miliano Lizondo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leonides Morgado. Miliano Lizondo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Miliano Lizondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonides Morgado having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miliano Lizondo in the 32nd minute of play forced Rahue F.C's goalkeeper Leonides Morgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Orlín Ledea took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eric Wittemberg. Eric Wittemberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. With a little luck, Rahue F.C's Leonides Morgado got control of the ball when Rómulo Campos tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rómulo Campos got free with Leonides Morgado in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rómulo Campos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonides Morgado having to interfere. Severino Lozano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Eric Wittemberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Severino Lozano made a kick off. The supporters of Rahue F.C booed when Cumina FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ceandro Mahuzier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Orlín Ledea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Wittemberg having to interfere. In the 55th minute Miliano Lizondo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Morgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonides Morgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rómulo Campos, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 60 minutes into the game, Cumina FC's Rómulo Campos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leonides Morgado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Severino Lozano in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eric Wittemberg saved Cumina FC from getting behind. Orlín Ledea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Leonides Morgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rómulo Campos in the 72nd minute of the match.
