Duardo Pimienta came out of the goal and Adalberto Gredig tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Juan Jesus Cuadrado hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 18thth minute of the game Adalberto Gredig who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Duplijsa AFC's Duardo Pimienta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Adalberto Gredig was extremely unlucky when he, in the 32nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Duplijsa AFC's Duardo Pimienta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejandro Monreal in the 33rd minute of play. In the 36th minute, Duplijsa AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Alejandro Monreal fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Benicio Velasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Floto having to interfere. After 40 played minutes Pujune got a freekick which was hit by Silvio Parga. Duardo Pimienta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reyes Negrete in the 45th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adalberto Gredig to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Duplijsa AFC's Maximiliano Redole slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Robert Floto. That made the score 1-2 after 51 minutes of play. The audience was convinced that Adalberto Gredig's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Duardo Pimienta was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. After 61 played minutes Duplijsa AFC got a freekick which was hit by Narciso Martos. When Alejandro Monreal came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Pujune fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alejandro Monreal couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adalberto Gredig in the 91st minute of play forced Duplijsa AFC's goalkeeper Duardo Pimienta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alejandro Monreal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Although Pujune had been in control for most of the match, Duplijsa AFC still came away with the win.
