Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Armando Bolados got the match started through his kick off. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Renaico AFC's goalkeeper Xosé Undurraga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lolo Galeas during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 10 minutes into the game, one of Renaico AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 17 minutes into the game, Washington Solminihac cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Xosé Undurraga was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Armando Bolados sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Blanco Daire's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Barrenechea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Armando Bolados hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Washington Solminihac fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xosé Undurraga having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benedicto Badal to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 53rd minute of the game. One of Renaico AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cauquenes AFC:s goal. Benedicto Badal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xosé Undurraga having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Rainerio Pena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benedicto Badal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Xosé Undurraga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benedicto Badal in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xosé Undurraga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Armando Bolados fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Barrenechea having to interfere. Benedicto Badal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Cauquenes AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cauquenes AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
