Spectators: 6701 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1701, VIP seats: 0) Luis Angel Hidalgo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Jose Esteban Peragallo came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Tinajas AFC's Pablo Cornejo. But to his dismay, Pablo Cornejo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 7 played minutes Lenca got a freekick which was hit by Luis Angel Hidalgo. Sandro Pakozdy was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luis Angel Hidalgo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 10 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Lobos in the 13th minute of play forced Lenca's goalkeeper Jose Esteban Peragallo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Tinajas AFC's Pablo Cornejo in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lenca's goalie prevented a goal. Luis Angel Hidalgo struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Sandro Pakozdy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lenca. After 35 minutes, Alvar Camara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lenca and the Tinajas AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 35th match minute, Lenca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvar Camara to maneuver through the defense. In the 40thth minute of the game Eliseo Asmussen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lenca's Jose Esteban Peragallo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eliseo Asmussen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

1-2 became the score in the 54th minute when Eliseo Asmussen elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Eliseo Asmussen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose Esteban Peragallo having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Pablo Cornejo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jose Esteban Peragallo. The goal made the score 1-3. 65 minutes into the match, Tinajas AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos José Fox came free, but Sandro Pakozdy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos José Fox struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Sandro Pakozdy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lenca. Carlos José Fox received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Sandro Pakozdy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Carlos José Fox had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donato Lobos kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The Tinajas AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Tinajas AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
