Spectators: 6708 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1708, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Luis Angel Hidalgo got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Lenca's Demesio Illanes Ansaldo got a free kick in the 7th minute. Virgilio Allison scored 1-0 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jose Esteban Peragallo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Virgilio Allison received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Jose Esteban Peragallo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Samuel Paillao stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos José Fox's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. In the 24th match minute, Lenca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Desiderio Lagunas to maneuver through the defense. Jose Esteban Peragallo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Virgilio Allison in the 28th minute. The audience was convinced that Andoni Rochefort's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jose Esteban Peragallo was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. 32 minutes into the match, Horcon FC's Andoni Rochefort sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jose Esteban Peragallo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Virgilio Allisons short, quick shot in the 43rdth minute got Jose Esteban Peragallo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 45th minute, Lenca's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Andoni Rochefort fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Jose Esteban Peragallo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bertrán Picado in the 51st minute of the match. The supporters of Horcon FC booed when Lenca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Demesio Illanes Ansaldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Horcon FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Luis Angel Hidalgo 59 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Samuel Paillao made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Carlos José Fox sent off a good shot on target. In the 70th minute Luis Angel Hidalgo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Paillao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Lenca's goal looked a bit too open when Andoni Rochefort came free, but Jose Esteban Peragallo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Lenca getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Alvar Camara hit a great ball. Virgilio Allison's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jose Esteban Peragallo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. In the 84th minute Jose Manuel Mendoza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Esteban Peragallo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Virgilio Allison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose Esteban Peragallo having to interfere. Luis Angel Hidalgo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute, Virgilio Allison got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Lenca players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
