Renato Cavareda yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Lolo Cares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Alejandro Bulnes in the 18th minute of play. With a little luck, Sagbara AFC's Renato Cavareda got control of the ball when Luís Fernando Oliveira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vincente Biggs hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute of the match Sagbara AFC got a corner. Pichuleitors FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Elodio Bulnes ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Elodio Bulnes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lolo Cares quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 38th minute, Fernán Daldos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alifonso Irisarri struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Renato Cavareda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pichuleitors FC. Renato Cavareda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alifonso Irisarri's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. 43 minutes into the match, Luís Fernando Oliveira dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Renato Cavareda, 3-0. Luís Fernando Oliveira came free with the goalkeeper in the 46th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Renato Cavareda could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elodio Bulnes in the 47th minute of play forced Pichuleitors FC's goalkeeper Lolo Cares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The Pichuleitors FC fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when Pichuleitors FC's Alifonso Irisarri looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 67th minute, Jacindo Pellegrini sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Sagbara AFC's Renato Cavareda didn't even have to move. The supporters of Sagbara AFC booed when Pichuleitors FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lolo Guerola didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Alifonso Irisarri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 86th minute Naelio Pena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lolo Cares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sagbara AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
